Here is the problem which is getting worse, I put the bike into reverse, hit the starter, bike rolls back fine, let up on the starter, the rpm's drop as they are supposed to, then they pick up again and bike continues to reverse, even though the starter is not depressed. Even with the front brake applied it will continue. I have to quite often turn the bike off, take it out of reverse and restart and go. Any ideas?

Sounds like a controller is packing it in, I've read about it happening, sticking contacts in the box. Only fix is to replace it .

Hopefully they will shed some light. As you know, I'll be glad to help you repair it..and the guy up at CyclesRecycled in Morganton, NC probably has a used controller just waiting on you!
