Which oil? Engine, gearbox, final drive?

Engine is easy - warm up, remove drain plug, remove filter, fit new filter, refit drain plug, fill with new oil (~4 qts).

Gearbox isn't as easy because you have to divert the draining oil over the exhaust. Warning - check you can remove the filler BEFORE you drain the old oil!

Final drive - go to a dealer!

Yep, changing the engine oil is probably the easiest bike I've had for a long time and MUCH cleaner than doing the Harleys.

Some buy a special oil filter wrench to get it off. I, being basically a cheap pilot just used my 2 dollar strap wrench to get the filter off.

The oil drains nicely without going all over the bike as does bringing the filter off.
