SACRAMENTO -- A motorcyclist killed Friday afternoon in a multiple-vehicle collision at Power Inn Road and Scottsdale Drive has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office as Kelli Ann Hopkin, 46, of Sacramento.
The accident occurred about 3 p.m. when the driver of a Ford Taurus hit at least three vehicles, including Hopkin's motorcycle.
Witnesses said that the driver of the Taurus had been heading southbound in an erratic manner and had crossed over into northbound Power Inn Road just before the intersection where the crash occurred, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
The drivers of the Taurus and the pickup truck were injured, as was a pedestrian.
On Sunday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol had not released the name or any information about the driver of the Taurus, including whether charges might be filed.
