Fork protection - using 2005 fender??

Hi

I'd like to give my exposed front forks some protection.

I've noticed that the 2005-2007 models have a front fender extension that comes down the forks and attaches via the existing fork lug.

Can anyone tell me if this new type of fender will fit a 2002 LT model using the standard fitments on both bikes.

About a five minute ordeal.

It will require two M5 screws like used to hold the body panels on. Very simple exchange.
