The new toy;
I've been riding the K-R since June and have been having the most fun anyone can have with their clothes on :o . For the last few months members of the Posse have been telling how good Wolfgang would look and sound with a Remus. I resisted and stalled. Resisted some more, but the Borg Brothers, Raffy and Ted, informed me that my resistance was futile:confused:.
Finally, I caved in. I contacted Raffy (http://www.motogear4you.com/) and ordered up a Remus Revolution Carbon Fibre can for Wolfgang. Raffy knew extactly what to get, gave me a price that I could live with and had it for me in 24 hours. Trust is a calming influence:).
I was a bit nervous about installing the silencer. I've never done it before and I wanted to do it right. The Motorcyle gods smiled on me yet again; found out that Ted was having a mini-tech session Saturday night. After a busy day I got to Ted's around 10:30PM. Spent around an hour and was on the road at 11:30PM. Ted was very helpful and I think he was even more thrilled than I was, not really possible, but he looked it.;)
Ted took some photos at the session, here's one of Wolfgang with a Remus (http://www.sealec.com/ted/album13/IMGP1047).
After riding for a few days, my fears of it being too loud have been proven unfounded. As a matter of fact, it's purrrrfect! :D :D
