This may be in the wrong section but here goes -

I have zumo 550 and originaly mounted it on a migsel mount on my 1200 RT. It looked very neat but it vibrated a lot and if you hit a pot hole the whole thing 'bounced'. I removed the lot and bought a ram yoke mount. No good as there is no where to mount it if you remove the yoke cap !!!

I have looked at the touratech yoke mount which looks solid. However - i have wunderlich bar risers and touratech do not make the longer bolts for the RT as they dont sell risers ?

Has anyone with risers out there mounted a zumo between the bars which is solid? if so - help please.

Thanks

mike

I used a touratech tank bag to mount my Zumo on my R1200RT. No bounce. I ordered a different base RAM mount and attached it to a piece of Lexan that I attached with velco on the tank bag in place of the map case. No bounce or vibration.
