My pun oriented humor again, but one aspect of my new RT that I'm not thrilled about is inadequate guage display visibility, in particular that of the BC while riding in bright sunlight. Perhaps an aftermarket "shelf" above the instrument cluster intended for mounting GPS, etc. would act as sun shield but I suspect the BMW instrument pod from the current K1200GT would enhance visibility. I think I've references here on installing one of those on an RT, but I don't think I've seen a write-up on what's involved, i.e., removing tupperware or any mods required to use the KGT part.
