You can take a man off his motorcycle but you can't take the motorcycle passion from him.
I said I was done riding motorcycles. However the opportunity to still ride was presented when the below bike was made available for sale. I went from riding two-wheels to three.
I will pick it up at CCR and haul it back. Can't wait till the 26th or 27th when it is delivered.

Congrats Raffy! I am sure glad you found your way to keep riding. That is one sharp looking rig to be sure! Fits you nicely.
The only thing keeping me off two wheels again is finances. This retired life is nice, but no "fun" budget at this time. Need to find some part time work.

Raffy, that is one beautiful sidecar outfit. It brings back memories of when I had a Moto Guzzi with a sidecar rig. When all my friends were selling their bikes because they had babies, we bought a sidecar, where Louise & my son, Jason, would ride to events.
In Europe the insurance on sidecar outfits was acutally lower then an automobile, because they were considered so safe. You'll have all the fun of a motorcycle; yet, your family, I'm sure, will be more at ease with your choice of 2 wheel transport AND you don't need an M1 license as long as the sidecar is attached to your motorcycle.
Enjoy...

Thank you everyone.
Yes, a garage re-org is definitely going to happen. Time to pull everything out and bring in the shelving units from the storage facility.

Dave,
with your knowledge of the LT, I am sure that you could keep busy helping people add farkles and then of course you would have to do "Test Rides" :D

Nice rig Raffy. I'm sure your going to have a blast driving it. Just remember it ain't a motorcycle. Do a few laps around the parking lot before you head out to the twisties. Back in the late 90's the wife and I did about 80,000 mi on a GW with a Champion side hack. At that time the wife's arthertis was so bad she couldn't climb on the back of the bike and so we added the car so we could continuing riding. Once she got her new hips we moved back to two wheels. However, we had a ball with that rig and when the day comes that I need to add a third wheel again I'll go with the side car. In my opinion it beats the heck out of a trike. One of the advantages to the side car was that I could have it on or off in under 20 minutes. As a result I used to remove it during the week when I was riding back and forth to work and then bolt it up for weekends and vacations. The best of all worlds!

Nice Raffy. Can't wait to see it. Just to name one use for the new rig, you can now go grocery shopping in style. Probably hold a couple weeks worth of stuff.:) Make sure you come by and pick me up for any HDDC too. You fly, I'll buy.;)

Nice rig, Raffy. Glad to hear you'll be back in the saddle. Hope your injuries are healing quickly and that you are feeling better. Knowing that you've got a beauty like that must help at least a little, eh? :)
