Alaska is a trip thats been in the back of my head for a long time. Don't know when it will be and if I'll get a GSA, but im going to do it. Great pictures, most beautiful country seems like it is up there. It will probably be a spur of the moment thing like all my other trips.

Sorry it taken so long for me to download these pictures. The crash I stopped to help. Heard a truck yelling in the CB to call 911, he must to witnessed the crash. I was right there too, made a u-turn and call 911. The guy in the picture was not the one that crashed, but his girlfriend. She was taken off in the amblance. I sure she was ok, as she was talking and wanting to get up. No blood no pain, so I sure she went to the hospital just to be checked out.

John,
Is that a Moose Burger?
It was hand made pattie and it was the size of Moose, but darn good. In fact the burger was so good we stopped there going up to Prudoe and again on the way back to Fairbanks.

Good pictures. How did you take the ones while riding? I am planning a trip to Alaska next year. I was there 5 years ago on a Yamaha Silverado. I plan to take the LT up the Haul road also, as well as the Dempster highway to the Northwest Territories. I have regretted not doing this the first time. I only went to the Arctic Circle on the Dalton Highway. It gives me an insentive to go back though.
My blog with pictures of several trip:

More of my Alaska trip. I had a camera mount on the motorcycle for the first couple of days on the trip. You will see some pictures with 1/2 windshield in them, those were from the mount. However about the third day the camera went flying after a RR crossing, so I kept it in my pocket most of the time and used one hand. Not the safest, but I got the shots.
