Hey guys,

I'm going to install a "Painless Fuse Block" and wondered where you normally ground this or any fuse block?

Thanks for your help.

On any bike (but especially a BMW), one should connect a grounding strip directly off the negative pole of the battery. All farkles should be ground there. Using any other place for grounding devices is just inviting ground loops in audio devices, and/or any other ground-related problems.

As Joe said, directly to the battery, or the ground connection lug just behind the battery. Never ground anything to the frame on a BMW, as they ground everything with a brown wire, and frame is not considered a reliable ground. The engine case is grounded, but it is floating in rubber bushings.
