-joelI read that story last month. There is a lot of expensive glass in that pile. At the bottom right appears to be a Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS, though it could be the rare 200 f1.8. That single lens is pushing $4000.00.

Edit: going back to the article it is identified as a 300 2.8. :(

As a pro photographer, that is just a horrendous picture, makes my stomach turn.

If that were my camera bag I think I would have probably got burned cause I would be hard pressed to let my $7000 300mm f2.8 melt. I think I am going to call my insurance company up and ask about my coverage.
