I'm unsure what I should get to mount my XM Roady2 on the K1200LT. There are several mounts to choose from and I'm unsure what would be the best. Thanks for any input.

Probably the best advice would be to do a search on the old site.
There are many innovative and clever ideas that have been discussed.
I mounted mine by glueing the swivel mount just above the radio display.

I like mine right above the factory radio. Easy to adjust stations while looking uncluttered.
JMHO.

I used a RAM mount over the brake resivour. It brings the unit closer to you. Looks nice too. I can take aphoto if you request it..... well.... if I can find my digital camera :D

Yes! That's the brake cover and you will need the "short" ram clamp and the mount for the Roady2. Then your set!
I still have to find my camera though.....??
Don't know where it is....?? :(
When it turns up, I'll send a picture :)

Check out this link. I have the right side BMW Offset model. It clears the stock windshield.

For the record, RAM does not make that setup. One of our members does and the unit uses the RAM ball (the only RAM component). It costs more because of the machining involved in making them.
