It happened. My wife was sitting on the new RT this morning, lost her footing and it fell over on the left side. She got her left arm slightly abraded and the bike smashed her foot enough to bruise it. Fortunately, she was wearing her boots so the X-Ray revealed no broken bones. Just tenderness.
The bike has some scuffed plastic - the black on the edge of the left mirror and the edge of the housing the mirror snaps into. The left rear turn signal has a bit of scuffing on the tip as well. The cylinder head was scratched a bit on the bottom outside.
Question: can anyone recommend how to smooth the plastic out a bit? It's the black decor plastic, not the blue tupperware. I was thinking a real fine grit sandpaper might do it but wanted to ask first. I doubt there's anything I can do about the cylinder head so I'm not going to worry about it.
Regards,
