Mick-O-Pegs...Anyone using Them?

Just now stumbled accross this:http://www.ridingiswonderful.com/ridingiswonderfulinc/id46.html They seem to be very popular with the Gold Wing riders. J-Pegs do not work for me as my legs are too short. These Mick-O-Pegs look like they might be comfortable out on the interstate. Not very eye appealing though. Anyhoo, just fishing around to see if any members have them and what your experience has been.

There is a recent thread (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1932) about the Mick-O-Pegs in the Accessories, Gadgets, and Gear (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=35) section under the sub-forum of Ergonomics (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=82). I know it's bit hidden, but the site search would dig it up.

The consensus seems to be that they look a little funky, but work OK. I figure it's a personal fit kind of thing.

I had them on my wing and LOVED them. They are not for riding the dragon with them down but get out on the long stretches and nothing is more comfortable. I will be doing a set in the next few weeks.

I don't believe they are as ugly as Ottoman's but hey...ugly is ugly!!!

You must have two stubs instead of legs :D I have been trying to figure out some off the wall way to extend the length of the J-Pegs. I guess we are all looking for the "perfect position".

The Model N are for those with J-Pegs installed.

During the IBA rides I found myself searching for new leg positions often.
The Highway Ottoman's were an enormous help as well.

I figured I give them a shot.

Should arrive next week, I'll follow with photos and review.

I have a set of J pegs but could only use them one leg at a time. Bought a set of Mick-O-Pegs and just love them. Mick was really good to work with as I asked him not to powder coat them. The natural finish ( prior to painting) blends right in with the new 05 color. My intention is to ride them through the winter and if still satisfied after 5-6000 miles I'll get them chromed. I'm trailering to Las Vegas from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and will leave my bike there for the winter and fly down every month to ride for a week or so.

I'm sure you will love them.....see you in Goergia.
