Regardless of your politics, I think you'll appreciate this.
Please, let's not turn this thread into a hawk v. dove debate. This was sent to me by a former teacher and I thought I'd pass it along. If you want to comment on the video, please do, but let's respect the artist's effort and sentiment.

Yup.. she's quite a lady.. started the program to do all this with a bunch of other artists... I was 120 miles from her home when I had to turn around to get my Dad back home when he got ill on our trip out there...

What a great way to show respect for a family's sacrifices and mitigate a terrible tragedy with some heartfelt compassion.

I found a couple of links that people might find useful.
The project website: http://www.heropaintings.com/kzindex.aspx
Kaziah's website: http://www.kaziahthegoatwoman.com/PCSF/project_compassion_v2.html
Kaziah posted a letter on here website a few weeks ago saying they have exhausted all their donations. If the video moved you, maybe a donation would be nice.

A few weeks ago, when this topic was first introduce on our forum, Channing and I visited various web sites trying to find out more about the artist.
I found the information to make a donation via Paypal and went ahead sending money. After several weeks Paypal sent my money back along with this e-mail:
On Jun. 8, 2007, you sent a payment to Project Compassion Soldier Fund, Inc. for $XX.XX USD.
The funds have been returned to your account.
This payment was returned for the following reason(s):
Project Compassion Soldier Fund, Inc. is not a Verified PayPal member.
Please contact Project Compassion Soldier Fund, Inc. (woolf@heropaintings.com) to arrange an alternate payment method.
If you have any further questions, please log in to your PayPal account and go to the History subtab. Locate this transaction and click the word "Cancelled" in the Details column.
Sincerely,
PayPal
I was wondering if others had better luck.

Howard,
I missed the previous thread also so thanks for posting anyway.
I didn't see any paypal links on either website but there is an address to mail a check to. Also, something about stopping in at any Wells Fargo office.
