We will be leaving Keith's (Mr PiePrincess) house: 3526 Hayman Drive, Garland. Not sure about the time yet, because the route down has not been put together yet. Seems whoever (that would be ME) is in charge of putting the route together is dragging their feet. Guess I'll have to work on that this weekend so everyone going will have the opportunity to change the route.

But you know those HDs run about 100 miles and then you have to stop for gas. So how many stops would we have to make to get there.....that's right about 3 or 4...so I guess the 4am time would have to back up some.....

I'm not going to run with the group stopping in Crandall for breakfast so is anyone else heading down to Salado that is NOT going to Crandall?

I was thinking of a route down 635/20 to 45 South, then turn on 14 to Mexia and on down that way. I don't like riding I-35 but would in a pinch.

I put the route in my Garmin Mapsource and it says it is exactly 200 miles from my house in Garland to the Stagecoach Inn.

The last time I rode to Salado on the LT it was 20 degrees....wish I could get half that this trip.

Man, Jerry - I can't blame Ann for a sec. The humidity around here is so thick, my coif flattens out like Alfalfa's. Finally fixed a three tiered fountain this morning - standin' on my head and needin' three more hands and a BFH - and the dang thang filled up with humidity water before I turned on the hose!! :eek:

Good chance I'll be cagin' it too - may have to make an emergency run to KS at anytime during the next week or so; thus gotta leave ole Toad in the garage if I'm away from the 'hood. And heck, betcha we can find a Pie Place around Salado somewheres! Cya sooon.
