How many LTs out there vs. LT fourm?

How many LTs owners use this fourm vs. total LT owners in the USA. Is there any way to guess or probably someone already knows the answer.

I do know if my question is clear. I want to know if there are X amount of LTs in the USA, how many are on this fourm?

No real way of knowing. The membership number will not tell you anything since there is no way of knowing how many actually own an LT or even own a bike.

I don't have numbers for the US, but I believe the last number I was given earlier this year was 17,000 K1200LTs worldwide.

BMWON reported that the first two or three years the LT was third in the US with more than 2,000 sales. I don't remember the exact number. Since then I haven't seen any numbers.
