Travel Pics

This site may be a boon to tourers - I've carried only Canon equipment since I sold my old Hasselblat, and the pictures are all fun. I shoot at least several hundres shots on each long trip, then cull the bad ones when I get home. (Lots easier to do with a digital)

For this year's trip I picked up a Canon TX-1 - 7.2 MP with a 10x optical zoom. The pictures are terrific, but I think I'll keep my old SD550 for the bike - it's easy to use single-handed. Have LOTs of storage on hand - my smallest pictures are 2X too large to upload here... :))

I have used a S500 for a long time and like the size for use with glove on I also have a SD700 for my point and shoots. You should just link your pic's here then it doesn't matter how big they are we all can enjoy them that way. I use smugmug for my pics and love the way it works. Then when I bring up the pic I just click on the propeties and copy that and paste it in the post using this
