Dimming the instrument lights

I have a 2007 LT would like to know if anyone knows how to (1) enter the multifunction display dimming function, (2) have any idea how do dim the speedo and tach. I'm getting the Zetchnick Instrument Visor for the wind screen glare problem. :bmw:

Several of us placed a sheet of Window Tint over the Dummy Lights to Dim them and block Glare on the Windscreen.
