I have the Autocom Pro 7 along with part #67, which is to connect the Autocom to the LT radio. This is the one that has the switch to use the speakers, headsets, or both. The question is, where to I connect to the radio? Where are those wires located? What color are the wires?

Rason I ask, I've been known to let the smoke out of some electrical equipment. :-)

check this thread (http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15829)... for links to info. One of the "Brochures" (cant remember which) has a good diagram of the LT install.

I originally tapped power from the seat heater connection, however it is OFF unless the bike is powered on, so if you are just sitting there without engine on, you lose the comms. When I installed the switch connector, I took power from the rear of the powerlet connection under the back speaker instead. This is HOT when the ignition is on the Accessory position, so you still get to tell your partner NOT to get off the bike until you got yourself steady!!! :rotf:
Hope it helps.
