Yes, that is what Blue Bell Ice Cream in Brenham is saying about its 100th birthday bash July 19/20/21. I hope to be there the 21st to get a taste and a tour, anyone else interested? Washington County Fairgrounds, no charge, fun, games, ice cream....what? No pie?? I'll bet I can find some around there somewheres.

Boy, sure can't let the wife know about this one. She'd show up with spoon in hand saying: "Happy Birthday, now where's my ice cream" :D

I'm not sure I'll have the bike back by then but we are heading for a birthday bash in Angleton, plan on leaving Lakehills Fri night and being somewhere's around Brenham Sat morningish for icecream (and BBQ?), then on to Angleton. I'm not making this an official RTE since we are prolly not riding....but hope to see some of y'all there anyhoo.

Yummmmmm.
I could only get three bowls of ice cream down...made the mistake of having a bbq sandwich first. But what a treat it was: a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough, then a couple scoops of rocky road finished off with the Blue Bell aniversary special, almond ice cream with cake and spice frosting swirled in.
Wowser! And we manged to hit a few wineries in the area for some tasting as well. Great weekend even though it did not involve motorcycles.
