I have not used Olympus in a few years but this product looks like it might be a good consideration for use on the motorcycle.
http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13048 7.1 Megapixel
Shockproof to a 5 foot drop
Waterproof to 33 feet
Crushproof to 200 lbs
Operable to -10 degrees fahrenheit

I am not sure if it has controls you can operate with gloves on, that would certainly be a consideration.

If anyone has used this camera or knows more about it, please give us a review.

""Invalid attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster (websupport@bmwlt.com) ""I am not sure. The attachment is als embedded in the post, and it works fine for me. It is possible it is on your end or it could be on ours. It is likely to be a firewall issue, it usually is. Try a different browser or computer, if you still get the error, PM me with a tempory password you put on your account and I will log in under your ID and check it out.

We've had the 720 SW for several years now. It seems quite similar to the 770. Its a great little travel camera. Excellent quality photos, very friendly menus. Decent quality video is also possible. I bought it for the durability specs and it has accompanied me on numerous bike trips, hikes, in all kinds of weather with no problems. I recommend getting an extra battery as you can wear it out in a day if you use the flash or video mode frequently. An expanded memory card covers us for several weeks between downloads. The main negative is the lack of a decent zoom feature and so it is a little limiting for things like wildlife but the compact size, durability and build quality made it our first choice two years ago and it is still meeting all our bike travel needs. I can't use it with gloves, mind you with my mitts I have trouble with all these small gadgets.

Hope this helps.
