I have a friend visiting Los Angeles and he urgently needs a new rear Metzeler tire for his 05 LT. He needs to get back on the road sometimes on Sunday but his rear tire won't make it home.
Does anyone have a spare ME880 that he can purchase from you and pick up either this Friday or Saturday??? Will pay you in cash, or will buy you a new tire and have it shipped to your place; your pick!
Please call me at 818-480-2102.
Thanks in advance!:thumb:

Gilles -
I know they are not your favorite, but HOH usually stocks them. Last time I bought (June '06) I paid $167.

If you don't find a tire, and don't want to call HOH yourself I can call for you.

Let me know ~

Hi Gilles,

can't help you, but are rear ME's really that hard to come by?Hi Brian, it seems that not everyone carries them, and my buddy is in an urgent need or we would have ordered from SWmoto in AZ.
We may try Honda of Hollywood (a name that will forever live in infamy! ) although I hate giving them ANY business... but it is not for mor me.

Gilles,

I have a rear ME880 that's a bit over half worn sitting in my garage. It's still good for several thousand miles. If you can't find a new one, you're welcome to this one at no cost. There's even a Cycle Gear very nearby that can mount it if your friend needs.

for coming through.
My friend was very appreciative. The tire got mounted at Cycle Gear for about $20.00. Real nice folks there.
Your tire will be on the road headed East tomorrow or on Sunday.Gilles,

Yes, the rain seemed to tapper off as soon as "Your Friend" started home. Gilles, tell "Your Friend" to ride safe.

Yeah, I've heard of this "Your Friend." Well, he's alright in my book!

Thanks guys! I will tell "my friend" you all wish him well.:D

He is hoping to avoid the heavy rain and the heat, so I am not sure which way "he" will go, but I am sure I will read an RTE report in the next few days!:D
