Has anyone tried installing aftermarket HID's in a Ford Superduty (or similar application)? I need the 9007 bulbs and wonder if they work as both high & low beams properly, and will I have to cut & fab the lampholders like I did for the H-3 high beam bulb on the bike.

Haven't driven the truck in a couple weeks since the weather has been dry here but tonight it rained so I took it out... compared to the bike now the Silverstars are pathetic!

Experiences? Opinions?

Thanks in advance,
Rick

Rick... I did not use the 9007 in a Ford but... I did put them in my Mazda PU Great night vision but... NO HIGH BEAM !! they are low only and you lose the high beam. Only draw back is it will not pass inspection so I saved my old stock bulbs and put them back in to get it inspected then just switched back to hid's till next year. Only took about 15 minutes to swap out. well worth it for better lighting :D
