RTE cancelled for Satiday, 30th.

In case you missed it while trying to read thru all the posts in the South Central 'sticky' thread, about the Stagecoach Inn RTE tamale - it's been postponed. I talked with the Stagecoach early this morning and they understood our reluctance to try making it thru all the road closures and washouts. She said a lot of Salado wuz underwater (and if I remember right, there's a creek that runs pretty close to the lower back parking lot at the Stagecoach) and it would be difficult to navigate around right now. I told her we'd reschedule - maybe in July or August.

We do have the welcoming party in Houston for Wolfgang and Emily, on the 14th of July. That'll be at Andy's casa. Maybe a coupla week-ends after that, butt not to close to the CCR gig? Dunno - I'll take a poll later and see whazzup with any interest then.

I second Dicks thoughts on this matter.. With all the bad weather we've had in the last week there is no need to put anyone at risk trying to meet at this time !!!! I know the Dallas area was hit hard also and I'm sure those folks need time to get things cleaned up as well.
I suggest we focus on the "Welcome Back to Houston Wolfgang" party. Hopefully most of y'all that where coming tomorrow can make this get together instead :D If not you know we will have another soon.Then there's CCR .... "Are We There Yet "!! :bmw:

Hey, Steve - I'm lookin' at the wx radar and looks like DFW area is getting hit again. Man, I feel sorry for those folks. Saw some TV coverage of that area and it don't look good, even if you're a duck!!!

BTW - my cabin fever is just about over the top, so I'm gonna do breakfast in Blanco in the morning (did I say that somewhere else?!!). Wx radar will tell me to ride ole Toad or take ole Blue. I think it's about time for me to hit the bowling alley. Been to the Sunset twice since I've been to the BBAC. Prolly get there around 0800. If you're gonna join the HCBMWR gang over at the Sunset, drop in to the BBAC after y'all eat all them pancakes and French toast!!! Hope to see yuh somewhere in Blanco!! Be safe tamale.
