Hi gang. I just got my computer back on after ripping all the carpet from my house.
Seems mother nature is giving me a difficult time building the new shop.
Everytime I get close to getting something done she sends a flood my way.
We almost flooded three times previous to this.. But Tuesday was the big one.
Within an hour the water completely flooded my yard and I got about 6" inside the garage and about two in the house. Lola's feet got wet but that's about all.
I really didn't like that carpet anyway..
Lindy has lived here for nine years and the water has never risen like it has in the last two months...
Then we find out that the "flood" insurance she thought she purchased when she bought the house was not "actually" flood insurance. It would pay our house payment if we were displaced by a flood but not pay for the flood damage..
There ought to be a law against misleading someone about their coverage when purchasing insurance.
