Does anyone know if there is a ram mount for the J & M CB radio?

I suppose you are talking about the hand-held CB unit. I have a ram mount set-up which I purchased from cyclegadget.com. My unit works very good. I use the ball that is made into the reservoir cover on the clutch side.

I used the handle bar clamp Ram mount from my Venture. The 2 holes that the u-bolt goes through lines up with 2 of the screws on the clutch or brake res. Got some longer screws from the hardware store, works good for me. They make one that replaces the res. cover & one that fits the mirror holes.

I'm curious, why noy just mount it the factory OEM way to the clutch reservoir?
I have not seen a Ram mount specific to the CB control unit and I think I have looked at every Ram mount device twice. I am sure they have something that could work.

Don't know what I was thinking, the Ram mount I mentioned is holding my GPS. The J&M CB cam with the mount for the clutch res. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=1SIE%2DJCB03%2DBMW%2DMNT

Hi Pete,

The Left of the CB is too far left and blocks the mirror with the factory mount. A Ram clutch res mount with an adjustable arm would allow me to move it to the right and up a little.

I really do use the mirrors whan I travel and I dont like that right side blocked...

I have the BMW/J&M CB mounted to my clutch reserviour and it doesn't obstruct my view. The CB unit is mostly inboard of the reservoir not directly over it.

I also made my own mount and it does not interfere with the mirror. Here are pictures. The mount is made of Aluminum purchased at a hardware store.

That's the ticket Roger. A little more inboard would be good. It appears that you have accomplished that. The little squelch knob is in the way for me....
