I really am sold on the MotoLights product.

That said, I found a set of small, halogen based lights at China-Mart for 1/10 of the cost of the MotoLights product. I appreciate that you (usually) get what you pay for.

I am seriously considering buying these lights and mounting them on the front calipers, à la MotoLights.

I believe that the front caliper bolts must be tightened to 29 N-m. Would the same torque be applied with a bracket that I will have to fabricate to mount the lights to the caliper?

Thanks or your input.

It is actually 30 Nm and yes. Just make sure the bracket is not too thick. I just realised it may be tough to do as the bolt heads recess into the forks - not much room for a bracket
