I was reviewing the V1 home page (http://www.valentine1.com/home.asp) today and noticed that the new models all come with "2 Band POP" included. I checked the "upgrades" (http://www.valentine1.com/upgrades/) page for my unit and it is offered for $85 plus shipping. Their own information mentions that "POP" is mostly in Europe, however I hear that it is here in the States as well. Anyone have iny information on POP and whether or not it is needed for the lower 48 and Canada (oops, did I say Canada ;) )? Would it be worth the cost?

One of my V1's has been upgraded, the other hasn't. They're both the slimline models, but the one in the car supports POP, and the one on the bike doesn't.

Having upgraded the one in the car to support POP, I'm ready to upgrade the one on the bike as well ... just waiting for a downtime in the ride schedule. For me, the upgrade seems to have helped the false laser detections, and with the POP feature it will clear a false alert that it previously detected, so you get more info on what's out there.

I've been happy with it.
