You can click on the map, which makes it interactive, then zoom in and out. You can overlay clouds over the radar. What a fun, new toy!

I do like the Satellite and Radar composite feature...like they do on the evening news. That is a nice new feature on their page!
FYI:
The NWS has a very impressive Radar site on the web...with more info:
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ridge/index.htm
This is getting the info from the source! You can look at a national mosaic of all U.S. radars. Look at regional sectors...or look at individual radar sites. With each view you can zoom in. In addition to looking at the standard images (base reflectivity), you can look at Composite Reflectivity (the strongest return from the whole depth of the storm), Precipitation Estimates (for heavy rain or possible flooding), and Velocity (good for strong outflow winds or tornadoes). All products can be looped.
I must admit this is a biased opinion since I am a NWS Met. But then again you guys are all paying for this service via the tax man.

Oh yeah, I also use NOAA. Axshooley, I look at three different weather services and then pick the forecast I like the best.
I like that TWC allows you to pan in and out. Can you see me waving from my house?

I've given up on Intellicast and Accuweather. They've become, in my view, too intensive in easy navigating around the site. Didn't used to be that way, and I rather enjoyed Intellicast's website, for what I used it for. Nowdays, I've switched over to the NOAA hangout, as well as the TWC a leetle bit. They're both a LOT easier to navigate around in, for me at least. Thanks, Tom - thanks, Grif.

Dick i agree with you about intellicasts new format. I still use but they make you reister now so you can save links to the stuff you like. I think they call it Inav or something. Not bad once you set it up but I almost stopped using them because of it. My problem is I love the Radar Summary map. Great for planning the softball games after work and such.
