Satiday June 30th the "HCBMW" riders will be at da Sunset restaurant in Blanco. We would love to have y'all join us for breakfast. Afterwords we can go get lost for a couple-o-hours on our way to Salado for lunch.
Dick I was thinking head up to Burnet and hit 963

Yup on the breakfast thang. And yup on 963. I think we took that road coupla years ago, on the way to the Stagecoach. AND, I think Tom Bienkowski and Alan Stuber and I rode it to meet you and Sammie and Bruce Coleman at Killeen's Hooters, IIRC.
Cya Satiday.

Hey, Steve. You gotta route planned out after we leave Blanco and head up to Burnet and take a right on 963. We got some more road numbers to run 'til we git over to Salado, right??? Just wonderin' the best way to go?

Any other time I'd do two in a heart beat (attack?) but since this is a warm up for lunch.....I think I'll stick to one with berries!

Yessir I got 2 routes planed with maps :D
First.... 281 N to 963 E to 2657 S about 1/2 mile to 2670 then 195 N to 2484 to 2843 into Salado. The only drawback is 2670 VERY narrow and kinda ruff road. But.... I made it thought Sunday :D
Second..... 281 N to 963 E to 2657 S to Briggs/183 S to 138 E to 195 S into Florence. Then East on 487 to 2843 into Salado. We'll finger out which way to go as we get there.
We're lookin at about 2 to 2 1/2 hours on ether route

Yup, I figgered either one of those routes would do it. Been a long time since I rode those, so figgered you knew more about current conditions. I'm a great follower, so I'll wag the tail.
Thanks, Steve. Cya Satiday.
Oh, btw - my original post in the RTE thread said we'd eat at the BBAC - however, I didn't realize the HCBMW Riders were doing the Sunset. So - I guess anyone can eat wherever they wanna. I like 'em both, so may see who is who, where, and doin' what, when!! :D
