I recently bought the new 9500i and it came with a ground loop isolator. My question is, will the isolator hook into an autocom? I want to still be able to plug my earphones in and have the detector over-ride the music.

Let me start by saying I have no specific knowledge about an autocom nor the 9500i, but I do know about ground loop isolators.
A ground loop isolator is simply an audio transformer that has a 1:1 ratio. This kind of device will allow audio to pass through, but will appear as an open circuit to DC voltages. It should work fine with your autocom as long as the audio you are sending from your 9500i is of the correct strength to drive your autocom circuity.

I am trying to recall this from memory since I'm at work, but I believe that anything plugged into Aux 1 will override Aux 2 and 3. I have my radar and cell plugged into Aux 1, music in Aux 2, and GPS in Aux 3.
