Just a couple of days before a trip from NC to PA Amish country I changed the transmission fluid and the rear drive fluids. Normal change, well as normal as changing the tranny fluid can be.
In Maryland, while showing a friend all you have to do to drain the transmission, we noticed a leaking seal. I couldn't believe it. Just 2 years ago I had the same seal replaced and got a new clutch in the process under warranty. Now that I'm hope the leak is enough that it is dripping onto the garage floor.
I certainly would not have expected the same problem again, just 2 years later. At least the clutch isn't contaminated yet. I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow to see if I can get any help with the cost of replacing this seal...but optimism is not at the top of my list right now.
