I have a 05 with 13,500 miles on it and the rear brake rotor has become so loose it actually flops around on corners and bumps. Has anyone found a solution for this other than talking to my local arrogant outspoken BMW mechanic/God. It's still under warranty. I have switched to EBC brand brake pads which stopped most of the squealing.
This winter (central Wisconsin) I plan on switching the LT rear floating rotor to a ridged rotor and floating caliper. I noticed the RS incorporates that setup and check if it can be mounted on an LT. If not, modify the existing LT rotor to a solid mount and "float" the caliper. It can be done. Comments/thoughts? Thanks
