I was wondering if the installation of the backrest is as easy as it looks. The website does not have installation instructions, but it looks like it attaches at each end of the arch. Is that all there is to it? Also, are there any LT owners in the tidewater Virginia that have one installed? I sure would like to see this before buying.
Thanks,

All you have to do to install the Bakup backrest is lift the seat, remove two hex head screws, position the backrest and then reinstall the screws. After it is installed you can also adjust the height and the fore and aft position.

It only took about a couple of minutes to install. You are correct, you use the 2 screws that hold down the rear seat to fasten it down and that is it. I live in Greensboro NC. Not sure how far I am from you but can try and meet somewhere so you can take a look at it if you like. The wife and I are always looking for a direction to take a ride on the weekend.

They are very easy to install and uninstall. My wife does not like riding with the backrest on, so I constantly am putting it on and taking it off. That is sort of a pain. Wished they made the mounting bracket separate from the backrest part, and made it so the backrest just slipped in and out easily.
