I can just see the LT coming to a dead stop as the engine goes into run-the-compressor-only mode, and still almost stalls!!

On the same site there are several other LOUD horns. I think the loudest was a train horn on the roof of a pick up. I can't begin to imagine what it would be like to have it come up behind me.

My R1150RT has a pretty amazing horn, loudest one I have ever had on a bike. On one of my first rides, I hit it unknowingly while going through a tunnel. Scared the crap out of me. I got a good laugh when I realized it was my own horn blasting at me.

I rode an R1200R and it has a cute little beep like most bikes. It is just the RT that has a blaster?

I rode an R1200R and it has a cute little beep like most bikes. It is just the RT that has a blaster?No, the LT has a great set of horns. The GT comes with a mweeper (cute leetle beep), add a Stebel air horn to it and you get a nice mweep-HONK.
