I replaced my low beam bulb and now it's loose and burned out right away. I didn't see any spacers or anything missing. It's the actual bulb that is loose in the fixture.

I did a search but didn't see this one.

I suspect that you replaced the original bulb, but probably did not secure it properly with the wire clip. Then what happens is the bulb gets loose and flies around to the point where the filament breaks inside.
When you replace it again be sure the wire clip is on properly. The bulb should not move at all when installed properly.

And...you probably already know this, but just to make sure, do not to touch the bulb with your bare fingers (the glass part, that is). Will cause failure.

OK- I didn't want to go crazy trying to see why the clip didn't hold tight if I had dropped a spacer- now that I know its just the clip I'll have to see what's going on.

Thanks
