MapSource V7

I recently upgraded to version 7 of the MapSource software. However, when I click on About MapSource under the Help menu, it shows as Version 6.8.0. When I click on the Product Info button, it shows Version 7. Today, I got an e-mail notice from Garmin that Version 6.9 was available. Should I download the 6.9 or do I have the latest version?

Mine is at 6.9.1. And when I click on Help, then 'Check for Software Update...', it queries the server and tells me that I'm up-to-date.

The current Mapsource is 6.9.1....It is the base program that supports the installed maps you own. Therefore Mapsource requires separate updates.

I have city nav 6, 7...topo and such. installed..so these show in the product info area...see attached.

I think you are confusing MapSource and City Navigator with one another. The MapSource program you can download from Garmin or from BMW. The latest version is 6.9.1. City Navigator is updated via a DVD from Garmin. The current version of City Navigator is 7.0.
