We had a great time with those COG guys on last year's ride. Unfortunately, we will be in SC getting sand all over everything.

Any LT's interested in running the paved unpaved route?

The camaraderie ride had a good turn out. I didn't see any other LT'ers there. I was considering the unpaved ride, since I recently washed and chiseled all the mud off from my spring ride in Mexico. But, I decided to ride the 235 route with 2 Concours riders and a Gold Wing. We left Carlisle heading north on 34 which went through valleys with streams along the road, many grade changes and all types of curves. We passed Little Buffalo State Park on our way to Liverpool where we continued north on 235. We encountered many horse and buggies along 235. In Laurelton we headed east on 45 to Miffinburg where we headed south on 104. In Mount Pleasent Mills we turned southwest on 35 and crossed over 235 in Mc Alisterville. We then came to Miffintown, not to be confused with Miffinburg or just Miffin, where we turned south on 333 to 75 and a long run on 74 across 2 valleys and 2 mountains, which has lots of grade changes and tight hairpin turns. A few miles from Carlisle we turned east on 944 which brought us back to 34 to Middlesex Rd to the Middlesex Dinner on Rt 11 at I-81. I represented BMWLT'ers well as I stayed with the 2 Concours and Gold Wing riders for the 172 mile ride and even pushed at them a little.
