Anyone know what the bulb is in the high beam on a pre-'05 LT (H3?) A fren has everything for an HID but the bulb for his ex-LT and we were wondering if it would fit my '05 (H3?)

Anyone know what the bulb is in the high beam on a pre-'05 LT (H3?) A fren has everything for an HID but the bulb for his ex-LT and we were wondering if it would fit my '05 (H3?)The pre 05 use an H3 bulb for the high beam, and the 05 and newer use either an H9 or an H11 for the high beam.
Both pre 05 and 05 and newer use an H7 for the low beam.
In other words your friend's H3 bulb will not fit on your 05 LT. The low beams are the same, but the high beams are different. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Yep, so much that I ordered a high beam as well. My PIAAs are pretty much worthless now unless I reaim them or something. Time will tell. Thanks again for all your help! And your granddaughter's help.........
