Getting ready to replace my battery in a K1200RS, and I found a new battery that is the same size as the original but has more AH and more cca's. Is it ok to use for my bike ?

From my limited but ever-growing knowledge of batteries and charging systems, I think you're fine. Go for it. But why don't you provide more details (i.e brand, specs, maybe a link) for the more-educated-than-me to examine? :)

No problem whatsoever. ANY automotive/motorcycle/ATV 12 volt battery will work just fine, size is the only limitation to installation. AH and CCH have no affect on useage except for AVAILABLE current/capacity. Higher AH and CCH numbers only give you more available capacity, but have no bearing on actual useage by the vehicle. Higher AH only means that it will crank the engine for a longer time before being depleted, higher CCH means that the battery will supply higher cranking current when the battery and engine are COLD and for a longer period.

What kind of battery did you find?
