Got a wild hair on sunday so I packed a bag gased up the bike and rode north on Munday mornin. First stop was Tony's (Deputy5211) there we meet Steven (Bustedknuckles) rode to OK for some catfish. After dinner Steven set out for home. Tony and I went northeast to McAlister for the night. After a lazy mornin we hit the road west.Road OK Hwy 1 then the Tala-Mena scenic road. Man dem be some gooood roads :D Had a great lunch at the Queen Willamena Lodge . At this time Tony and I split up . He went back to OKC . He has an appointment at the BMW dealer on Wendsday. Myself I kept goin to HotSprings the south. Iam now in Texarkana will head for Shreveport in the mornin then find my way home by nightfall.more info and pics to come.
BTW..... big THANKS to MrsKatnapinn (Sammie my lovely wife) for letting burn all my kitchen pass's at once to make this ride happen. :D love ya big time

That should have been, "great dessert bar"!!!! Man, do they do a spread, or what.

I think Hwy 7 is a must do, too.

And the next time you're up near Eureka Springs, head north on 65 toward Springfield and have lunch in Ozark at "Lamberts, Home of the Throwed Rolls" restaurant - then head east over to Sparta and turn south on MO125 and crank it up!!! Slow down near Protem, cuz you're gonna park on a short-trip ferry boat across Bull Shoals, then continue on 125 down to AR14, hang a right over to 7, and a left down into Harrison, then west on 62 back to Eureka Springs. You'll run it with a smile and a grin all the way - just like me and ole Toad!!! :D

For a walnut pie (pee-can pie made with walnuts) head south out of Talihina take the Indian Highway to Honobia, just past the "Big-Foot Crossing" sign is a diner, it's pretty darn good.

Wasn't it hot with that kind of gear on? I came through NE TX, and SE OK Friday afternoon, and it was plenty warm! I was burning down with a FirstGear mesh jacket and T-shirt on.
