K-Bike Question(s)

Hello. Newbie to this fine community, but not to bikes, and not to BMW R-Bikes.

I would really appreciate the knowledge of the K-bike riders here.
Can you tell me the major differences between K1200RS and K1200GT? (Thinking of the previous GT's.)

I love what I hear about them, but how are they different- especially in the touring dimension?

From my perspective, the differences in the K1200RS and old GT are pretty minimal. Color matched hard bags, an electric windshield with limited range and heated seats are the major differences. Also bar backs for a "slightly" more upright riding position and winglets on the fairing upper. Same engine and six speed transmission which are spectacular by the way.

I have an RS and an LT and while they are vastly different, I enjoy them both. The '98-'02 K1200RS appears to be a super bargain right now with many low milers going for a song.
