How close to a flaming road show was I this time :D ?
This is the starter relay from my K75, it sits between your legs UNDER the GAS TANK :eek:
I had to yank the ground off of the battery to stop this act!
In the first pic you can see that the copper lug was starting to burn through the case, and how far apart the points had gotten.
Picture 2 shows the outside of the case and how far the lug had moved.
It's all fun and games till your nuts catch on fire, then it's a circus act :cool: .

The end of the ground cable is reachable without going through anything else, where it bolts to the bike. I could cut it in uder 5 seconds with my leatherman, take it off with the proper allen (now living in map window of tankbag) in 15 seconds.
