I was using the new fangled Canbus charger with my Canbus system. Even, when I follow the procedure for hookup, eventually, the canbus shuts down and the bike will not recharge again unless I "reset" the unit again.
I have now installed a separate accessory socket wired directly to the battery with a fuse ( a Powerlet part PKT-042-48 ) so I may use my heated clothing. The question is..Should I now connect the new charger to the new hookup or should I use my old trusty AGM battery tender in the new hookup??
