icelink firmware

I just installed my 30gb ipod and used an icelink, I do not have any song displays on the bikes radio. I did my searching and found I need to download 2b2 from icelink. I have downloaded it and I can not run it? I have windows xp home and it normally opens and runs files I download, but not this one. Icelink site told me to copy a particular file to a new folder and open it. I could not find the file anywhere. How do I download and run this firmware?

I believe you have to add it to Itunes and then load it onto your Ipod.

After you unzip the folder, there will be a bunch of MP3 files on your computer. They must be imported to your iPOD via iTunes. Here are the URL's sent to me from Dension. One of them is the brief set of instructions. Hope this helps.

I did download all those files, Should I download all 75+ files to my ipod? And if so what do I do with them? Thanks for your patience, This stuff is greek to me.

A subject on which I have recent bitter experience

I loaded the firmware on my ipod- then followed the instructions to load it onto the icelink. It was supposed to update after 5-10mins. 90mins later - no progress although the ipod was saying 'Dont disconnect blah de blah ' in Dension text with 'OK to disconnect' in normal ipod text simultaneously. Needing to get on with my life I decided to disconnect. Result .... the icelink died and aint come back.

Presently waiting for some kind of feedback from Dension support about what to do next.

Irony of the whole thing is even if I had managed to get the Firmware on the texts display apparently doesnt work on 05's
