I just bought the Kisan LED based auxiliary brake light/turn signal light device.
I have to tap into the wiring supplying the tail light, brake lights and turn signal lights. The only way that I can see to wire the device to the bike is to feed the wiring into the enclosure that holds the 5 lamp rear light assembly by drilling a hole in the back of this enclosed space and feeding the wiring through that hole.
I know it sounds silly, but I would prefer not to drill a hole in anything. As I am not that familiar with the overall wiring of the LT, I was wondering if I could go further upstream and tap into the wiring harness that supplies the rear end lighting before it enters the light enclosure space?
I expect that I would have to remove the pillion seat to gain access to the wiring harness but I am not certain, assuming that what I am suggesting is possible.
Thank you your input, as always.
