I've got a Roady 2 that I mounted on the front brake reservoir using the Hoon Hardward mount. I'm delighted with it. The Roady 2 works great, reception's great, wired in without difficulty and I've got it set up to use either FM reception or direct input to auxiliary when changing FM frequencies gets to be a pain.

One small little problem: I've wanted to be able to use the Roady 2 off the bike, take it in the car or use it on the patio. Now, I can't seem to get it unfastened from its plastic bracket. I'm concerned that about breaking the damn thing. Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem. I put washers between the Roady mount and the Hoon mount. It solved the problem for me.

Thanks for the suggestion Nathan. Did you use just a single flat washer?

TomI mounted mine without the washers. I simply slide my thumbnail at the top under the mounting bracket (between the bracket and the top of the Roady) from one side to the other while pulling gently out on the Roady. It comes off easily and it is nice and secure until I want it off.

Hi Tom,
Mine is
Sam mounted with heavy duty velcrox and I just pull it off when I need it and have a car mount with power plug in to the lighter.

Thanks for the suggestion Sam. Actually, Randy's suggestion of using my thumbnail to pry up the edge is just the ticket, came right off.

Any news on your LT yet?
