The following letter is at the "request" of Gilda.
Dear Friends,
The time has come to share with all of you the charity of choice this year for our Silent Auction. This year 100% of the proceeds from the auction will be given to Camp David of the Ozarks. www.campdavidozarks.org (http://www.campdavidozarks.org/).
Camp David of the Ozarks is a free summer camp for children of prisoners. These at-risk children and youth are in desperate need of hope. Through games, parties, camp grandmas and grandpas, and a counselor that is shared with two campers, these children discover they are special, they are significant, and there is hope for tomorrow.
All staff are volunteers. It costs $150 to send a child to camp for a week. The camp is also in the process of building a Multi-purpose building to replace the tent they are currently using. This building will house the dining hall, kitchen, bathrooms, have room for group meetings and staff housing upstairs.
Come join us in making the new Multi-purpose building a reality. We need your help to make the auction a sucess. The sucess of our auction relies on donations from businesses and members of our community. Be part of this worthwhile and exciting occassion. Please make a donation of or solicit an item, gift certificate, collectible or souvenir. If you can honor this request, please send to or contact:

Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Let me add that the help of all of you would do wonders for the Auction totals.
Your help can be as simple as asking your dealer for some donation to the auction. All dealerships have been contacted, but customers are harder to ignore than a letter or e-mail.
Several members have gone to the proper people at the companies they work at and had donations made to CCR. Remember that it need not be motorcycle related! We all have cars, trucks, kids, pets, and so forth, all of which need "stuff".
Is someone in the house looking for more space? Donate anything in VERY GENTLY USED shape! How many pairs of gloves do you have that are not right for you? How many farkles just don't do the job for you, but are taking up valuable space that NEW farkles can fit into? Donate the old ones, and buy the new at the auction!!
Use imagination and give us a shout! It could benefit everyone!
