In addition to the main hotel there are accomodations available in the estates area of Tan-Tar-A. The location is great. I have attached some pictures of a couple of the homes with the view from the deck. All of the homes are different with views and amenities but if they are like the ones I saw the are good places to stay.

If you have not signed up yet make plans to join us for a great reunion at a great place!

If you have not signed up yet make plans to join us for a great reunion at a great place!I put some photos up in a post earlier this year, they deserve another look. We started this thing 8 years in Broken Bow, OK as a fairly intimate gathering of about 60 people. Each new location has created its own memories that stand out for me. I especially liked Broken Bow for its intimacy and really liked Jackson Lake because it felt more like a neighborhood and we could walk around, look at bikes and meet the riders. This year at Tan-Tar-A has the possibility of creating that atmosphere again. The Estates are back on several winding driveways, winding in and around the golf course. Michelle and I have stayed in the Estates each time we have visited. At the same price as a claustrophobic hotel room, we enjoy a kitchen and a back porch. Each CCR has been memorable and this one will be no different. While it doesn't have the spectacle of the Tetons, or the Rockies, the Lake of the Ozarks area has plenty of interesting rides as well as places to visit. Michelle and I have devoted several days to exploring so far, and have many other rides planned for August.

Skrag the rooms! I went for a ride and first off, right out of the gate, I was kinda ho-hum. Colorado, Utah, etc. can do that to you.

Then I started to really get into it. It's different and way kewl. Lush, verdant green, gently rolling hills. Beautiful old farmsteads, lakes and trees.

The roads kind of sneak up on you. They are a veritable roller coaster with sweepers. Not quite the dragon, but a lot of fun. There is a 90 mile loop that includes a state park with the ruins of a castle http://www.mostateparks.com/hahatonka.htm

I went out and "got lost" for about four hours and loved every minute of it. It's a really beautiful ride with lots of thrills thrown in.
